Nomadways General Assembly 2020
Our annual meeting took place online this year due to you-know-what
2020 gave us many reasons to be angry and sad, but we cannot ignore the fact that it also gave us an opportunitiy to look for new ways to work and communicate. We used to do our annual meetings physically in France, however like many other teams, we had the reason to try making it online and to invite our international artivists. Plus, to enjoy seeing their lovely faces online. As a result, we had this absolutely amazing moment of seeing some friends and artivists we haven’t met for quite some time. How awesome!
Our General Assembly took place on 29th of September and together with 15 of our partners, members and friends, we managed to discuss how 2019 was for us and what are our foreseen plans for 2021. During the meeting we have presented our annual Financial and Activity reports as well as we voted the minimum annual membership fee for our network. Now, here are the details:
Financial Report
As a non-for-profit association, we publish our annual financial reports and everyone has access to see them. Our 2019 report is now available for download here.
Activity Report
What we did in 2019? How many projects we realised and how many workshops we held? Where? We are super happy to share them with you. In a nutshell, 8 Erasmus+ workshops took place and in more than one country — France, Poland, Latvia, Italy and Bulgaria! More than 1000 people applied to our activities and more than 500 took part in some of our events: workshops, trainings, concerts, shared dinners and much more.
Nomadways Membership
From now on, Nomadways membership is annual. There are three levels of involvement you could have in our association, depending on how time you have and if you wish to take part in some of our projects or even design them with us.
Being a member of Nomadways gives you the opportunity to be a part of an international artivistic community and to take an active action in our projects and activities. We have online groups with more than 180 inspiring people who are part of our family and who create beautiful projects all around the globe!
During the meeting we voted that the minimum membership fee is 10 EUR. If you would like to contribute more to our community and association, you can surely do that!

2020–2021 Updates
2020 appeared to be quite harsh for our team. At the very start of the year, Homade was closed as a public space. In March, with the COVID-19 outbreak, all Nomadways activities were postponed to 2021. We are now redesigning our team roles and in search of a new Homade team — a group of people who would love to take the project on the next level. Here are the milestones of 2021 we have envisioned so far.
